Join us on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, from 6-8 pm at 3115 Veith Street for our Social Hangout. This week's program will take us to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic on the waterfront. Everyone will dive into the largest and oldest maritime museum and learn about Nova Scotia's rich maritime heritage. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic offers a unique experience to explore various elements of marine history, from boat building and World War convoys to the Halifax Explosion, as well as an exhibit on the Mi'kmaw indigenous people. HACL would like to thank the people at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic who graciously donated tickets to our program. So the participants can get the opportunity to learn about the history and heritage of the Maritimes.
